Legend Paddles Ltd is a proud locally owned company.

The company is owned and managed by Len Smyth.
Len has been part of New Zealand’s kayaking industry for over 20 years. He has been involved in many kayaking disciplines from adventure racing to sea expedition.

  Such experience has provided Len with the necessary knowledge needed to help guide and advise customers on the paddle best suited to them. Legend Paddles is dedicated to providing customers with the strongest and most advanced designed racing paddle it can.

  At the same time making the paddle light and easy to use. No one type of paddle can be prefect for everyone so we have a wide range of paddles to cater from first time kayaker through to multi-sport champion.

New Zealand Made
All Legend Paddles are 100% New Zealand made.  Our blades are hand made in Nelson and the paddles are assembled at our dispatch plant in Christchurch. Len personally guarantees and stands behind each paddle sold.
